Arrived back at the airport at 16.15, quickly picked up by polite mini bus driver. Explained traffic delays back to MIA.
Car had been damaged while parked. Required new windscreen and £1500 repairs in body shop. Eventually MIA arranged for a hire car to make the journey home. Sat in cold waiting room at MIA for 2 1/2 hours before collecting hire car and leaving airport at 19.30 am. When my car was returned with new windscreen 2 days later it was dirty inside.
With the exception of the mini bus driver, who was excellent, the rest of the staff at MIA are a complete waste of time. They signed a letter accepting the damage was their fault and they would pay all the costs. I sent faxes and made loads of phone calls to get my parking costs refunded, without success. I drive a company car and I think my company may have to take legal action to get the repair bill refunded.
Overall, I would never use these people again. The same as described in an earlier review to this one, they have the attitude of, thanks for your money, oops we have a problem, ignore the customer.
