The camera is small enough to fit nicely into a pocket
My Canon digital camera (which I paid almost $400 for) has encountered three failures in less than 18 months, and their warranty period is only one year. The LCD (internally) broke, the flash stopped working, and now the camera no longer holds a charge by the battery.
These days consumers have to go by two factors 1) Past history 2) Customer Service / Warranty. Since the product has failed three times in less than 18 months and Canon is not willing to take accountability for these failures they become a poor choice for a consumer product.
I would not recommend purchasing a Canon at all. I believe a $400 camera should last much longer than 17 months! This one had failures beginning as early as 6 months.
