Good Points

Stack neatly for storage.
Ideal if space is limited.

Bad Points

A little expensive maybe?
No lid for smallest pan.
Very slight staining on the inside (which they say is natural occurrence with stainless steel) - can be removed with a special cleaner; even better results can be obtained by adding lemon juice or vinegar to cleaner.

General Comments

Tefal compact is the new range of pots and pans ideal for neat stacking and storage. They stack very neatly, one inside the other. Plus, the butterfly handle on the lids fold flat. Ideal if space is limited in your cupboards, ideal for stacking in a dishwasher.

I bought the Stainless steel ones, but they also do them in a graphite colour. The Stainless steel ones, I think, are the better looking! They come in a set of three, and sizes are:

14cm or 1.3L max
18cm or 2.1L max
22cm or 3.2L max

These pans have a fold away handle, which is robust enough to endure all the heat from cooking, and also suitable for the dishwasher. It locks into position for cooking, so is absolutely safe. Click back on a little button when the pan is finished with, and it folds back against the pan. No more clutter of pots and pans looking like the Leaning Tower of Pisa in the cupboards! This idea also makes these pans a lot easier to stack in a dishwasher.

The handle on the lid also folds flat, so the lids can be stored more neatly too. The lids are made of toughened glass, so you can keep an eye on what is cooking without having to keep removing the lid. They are also vented.
A little disappointing - the smallest pan comes without a lid.

I paid £69.99 for these pans in Argos about 2 months ago. This may sound a little expensive, but for what you get I think these pans are worth paying a little more for. The folding handles are a great advantage to anyone with a dishwasher and/or limited space. Mine have been used a fair bit already, and still look like new. I will be purchasing the frying pan set next.

These pans are suitable for any hob, including induction. They can also safely be used with metal utensils.

There is a 12 month guarantee with these saucepans against any manufacturing defects, and the non-stick coating is guaranteed for the life of the pan.
