General Comments

Over all a fairly well balanced, reasonably accurate, fun to shoot air pistol. EZ to load. I'm getting approx. 30 rounds at full power with a new CO2 cartridge and another 50 at decreasing power levels until the air runs out. I start at my distant targets and adjust to closer targets as the power slows. This gun is not a toy. At full power (410 fps rated) I nail 4 inch groupings at 30 to 40 feet. The only down sides are: the long trigger reach, hard trigger pull, and a few rough edges on the plastic. With the long reach I found a need to smooth file the bottom trigger edge. I have large hands and I can not hold the grip deep and reach the trigger with anything more than my index fingertip. I also found a sharp plastic edge to the back left of the mock receiver. A little light filing fixed that too. I would not recommend this gun for persons with small hands or short fingers. Also, thanks to this site: I checked www.gamo.com in regards to ammo for the P23, Gamo recommends either steal or lead in the P23. I've been shooting zinc coated steel BB's, lead and steal pellets with no adverse affect on rifling or accuracy.
