Good Points

I like the simplicity of the electrics on this early model, no electronic this and that. I can be in the middle of nowhere with no battery and no alternator and a quick 2 minutes with a spanner and it will push start brilliant.


Bad Points

Build quality a little poor on the early models and they lack refinement on motorways at anything near the legal limit.


General Comments

Brilliant everyday car - starts first time every time, you must must service these vehicles properly or the expense can ruin the enjoyment of ownership. Mine had been a little neglected so has cost a little to get it back in shape but well worth it. Later models had numerous faults so look for service history.
