Can be accurate with some pellets
smooth bore so it shoots bb's good
Weighs about 2 pounds-too light
not accurate at long ranges
too much plastic
The Crossman 664x Powermaster is a good BB gun for the price. My dad got me mine a little over a year ago for about 50 clams. When he gave it to me I went out and shot it with open sights and it was cool. The rear sight is fully adjustable and the front sight is bright green. The scope that came with the rifle was cheap so I got a 4 power weaver scope for it. I have not shot bb's out of it since I got it because pellets are more accurate and have more knock down power. Right now I have it sighted in with crossman premier hollow point pellets. The gun is too light though. I don't know if its just me but it is easier for me to shoot a gun that weighs above 5 pounds. I am a big guy so the stock is too small for me too but over all I would say this is a good gun for kids that are from 11 to 14. The next BB gun I get will either be the crossman 2100b or one of the more powerful springers like the quest or the phantom. If those don't deliver the power I want then I will go to the local gun store and buy a .17hmr or a .17m2.
