Good Points

The apartments / pool and all areas are meticulously cleaned every day, even the toilets are clean and that's something rare in Greece!


Bad Points

Traffic noise is too much as the apartments are too near the busy main road.
To call the apartments self catering is a joke, a 2 ring electric hob to cook on and that's it, no grill or toaster, no work surface to prepare anything on and basic cooking utensils.
Loud music played until the early hours and sometimes all day depending on who is behind bar.
6.50 Euros per day for the air conditioning is a rip off, that's 91 Euros or £63 for 14 nights but you have to pay it as it's so hot.


General Comments

The Dionysos Apartments are quite good by Greek standards and the owners and staff try hard to make your stay pleasant but for us, the holiday was spoilt by the constant traffic noise and the noise coming from the pool bar. Relaxing it was not! Venture outside into Stalis and wherever you go you have to be on the look out for the hundreds of quads, motorcycles and cars that frequent all the roads, even the road flanking the beach where all the shops, bars and restaurants are. Sit in one of these and you can enjoy the smell and taste of 2 stroke fumes with your meal. I have been to quite a few places in Greece before and Stalis is by far the worst.
