Good Points

Good Picture Quality and ease of use.


Bad Points

The toggle switch went out in less than 10 weeks of use. It controls the entire camera.


General Comments

I would not recommend any Kodak product to even my enemies at this point. I spent 4 months arguing with Kodak to repair the camera because I lost the receipt. The camera has a serial number and a manufacture date on the camera, so it would have been easy for them to tell the camera was only a couple months old. They still refuse to repair it, so the other day I sent it to the service center they recommended. United Camera and Binoculars Repair near Chicago, IL. and wouldn't you know it they are messing me over now. I called them 3 times about this camera before sending it to them. On 2 of the 3 occasions I was told it would be a $45.00 service repair fee and a total of $85.00 to fix the joystick. Yesterday I get an e-mail from them telling me that it will now cost $163.00 to fix it. I will now have a $300.00 Kodak paper weight. I can tell you this though, I have used Kodak products for over 20 years, but as of now I will never give Kodak or any of its affiliates 1 penny of my money again. I will also tell anyone that will listen how I was treated by Kodak and United Camera repair. I was in a shopping center the other day and prevented someone from buying the same Kodak camera just by telling them my story. They bought a Sony instead and I think that is the way I am leaning towards. Thanks Kodak, from a past loyal customer.

    Received an e-mail from United camera today. They are going to do me a favor as a customer courtesy because I was told a different price by one of their reps is how they worded it. They are lowering the price from $163.00 to $111.69. I sent them a return email telling them I wasn't paying a cent more then the $85.00 and to just return the camera to me postage due if they had to. I also spent $20.00 to cancel the check already. We will see if I get the camera back.
