I am still waiting to have a claim from November 2006 processed (7 months ago). It has been rejected four times due to "missing records". Each time, my vet fax's the records and we think we're good. Then I get a letter saying they are "missing records" Finally, on the fifth try, I was told that the missing records were from 2002. I got the dog in 2003. Now, they say all I have to do is write a "gap letter" to explain why we don't have records from 2002. In the meantime, they processed another claim for almost $900 and only paid $300. I'm fully expecting that when this November claim for $600 is processed, I'll get about a hundred bucks.
Not worth the hassle. I have probably developed an ulcer from dealing with VPI, which will cost me more than they have covered for my pet in the last 3 years.
