General Comments

I bought my first model 1077 some time ago to combat squirrels that had become increasingly invasive and destructive. I was very, very pleased. the powerlet provided a ready reservoir of CO2.
Multiple shots are needed for the agile, fast-moving squirrels. Accuracy was very good. I had no complaints at all for a year or two. Apparently the seal or gasket that holds the CO 2 deteriorated, because a day or two after loading the powerlet, the gun wouldn't fire because all the CO2 had leaked out. Repair was not something I was able to do. I tried to locate another, but no one locally seemed to have them. I was finally able to locate on, but it was fairly expensive because the dealer said he only had the one with the walnut stock. I bought it for the extra $30 or so because I liked the first one so well. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The new one seemed only to have half the power the first one did. Then it started to leak out in a day or two, also. Now, I pull the trigger and hear a pop, but it's not propelling a pellet through the barrel. Now the squirrels just sit there and look at me as though I'm playing some kind of game with them. Why is there such a difference in quality between the first on and the second one? HELP!

if you left the co2 in that is why it leaked it says on the manual storing with co2 in it will damage seals

It was not in storage,I was using it almost every day.Now it's in storage in my shed.I may try to repair it or use as spare parts for the new 1077 that I bought.
