A new spring pistol from Webley (well ok AGS) at last.
The semi recoiless action is a good idea - pity it's let down by the awful trigger.
Heavy gun makes it hard to shoot unsupported by anyone other than Arnie.
The terribly heavy trigger really spoils the accuracy potential. It may be smooth but you need fingers like bananas to pull the thing at all. At anything over 6 yards you'd be hard pressed to hit a tin can unsupported. Definitely not for shooting one handed.
The sight adjustment is rather rudimentary although probably sufficient for a plinker - although with the terrible trigger the sights are bit superfluous altogether.
Very disappointing. The heavy non-adjustable trigger really lets it down. It is not really usable even for plinking as the trigger is so heavy that at more than around 6 yards hitting anything is just chance. Webley could do much better than this. The recoil absorption sled system is good but a bit pointless as the heavy trigger makes it so difficult to shoot the gun accurately.
If modern rifles can have decent adjustable triggers why not this pistol - and you don't have to pay a fortune to get a good trigger on a rifle, the BSA Lightning is quite decent and that's a cheap gun.
AGS will have to do much better than this if they're going to convince loyal Webley fans and capitalise on the Webley brand name.
Oh yes my Typhoon Pistol is up for sale if anyone's interested - why ever not!!!
