Highly accurate rifle and a must for serious pest control. Well made rifle and superb finish. Never mind about only getting the 30 plus shots. I have had up to 80 at well over 30ft lbs. Needless to add an air rifle will only be just ever be an air rifle and cannot compete with a .22LR, but will adequately be ok on parcels of land were a .22LR to dangerous to use etc. With my bipod on I can regularly achieve about half inch group at 50 yards
I find opening and closing the bolt rather awkward. But there again all my deer rifles have Mauser actions and are smooth as silk to use. I have fired a few thousand pellets through this rifle as rabbit control is my work, but for the love of money I still find it awkward to use.Best used with the heaviest pellets you can get
Lovely rifle and the finish is great. I would think twice about buying one of these again, for I cannot understand why I applied for one of these rifle to be put onto my firearms certificate when I should have asked my FEO for a .17HMR. Also beware once its on your firearm certificate, you have it for life so to speak. It isn't like a normal air rifle that you can sell or swop down the pub or with your mates. After saying that this has to be a fantastic bunny shooting rifle, whisper quiet and accurate as hell.
