Wide variety of foods.
Always has a well stocked 'reduced area' for last minute ideas for dinner.
The store is not too big; it's a size that you can happily walk to one side and then remember you forgot something from the other and walk back. Also easier to find things, as the store isn't massive.
Also has a DVD, CD and card section.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Nectar card scheme.
Cash machines inside, which don't charge to withdraw your money!
Sometimes veg. Usually on a Wednesday I think there is little choice of veg - this must be before they get their delivery.
Other than that, there are none that i can think of. It's a perfectly good store!
The store in Fallowfield is a short 10 minute walk from my house, so it's an ideal place to buy my food shopping. It's a large enough store to have plenty of choice of a variety of different foods. They also has (near the rear entrance) a stand with different recipe ideas, which you are free to take.
Staff are also friendly and helpful, and the Nectar card scheme is brilliant! I didn't know how many points I had, but once when I went to pay at the till, my bill totalled £12.00, and after handing over my Nectar card the cashier asked if I was saving my points or if I wanted £10 off my shopping. I went for the £10 off, so my weekly shop was £2! BARGAIN!
The only downside of the Nectar card scheme is you aren't sent any letters with your points balance, and therefore what you can buy/use your points for, but money off shopping was great anyway!
All in all, Sainsburys is a great store!
