Good Points

Hotel staff are excellent, they will go out of their way to resolve problems. Our air conditioning didn't work, so they gave us a portable air con unit, 2 fans, a basket of fruit and bottle of wine. They had to get an engineer in from outside but he had it fixed within 3 days, they couldn't of done any more. Very friendly. Animation team good but shows are very simple.


Bad Points

Top Manos hotel had private function at poolside and guests had to leave the pool by 5 o'clock. No access whatsoever to the pool area from this time, his guests who came in hotel made us feel rather uncomfortable. Not very good to arrange it for the June holiday season, especially as we are paying guests!


General Comments

Really nice hotel, no mini golf anymore cos the hotel was refurbished in Winter 2006 and it was removed, kids club am and pm, would advise parents of younger children stay by poolside if kids in club. Play area is a small plastic climbing frame with a slide. Food is warm rather than hot but apparently this is the Greek way, always something there for everyone to eat. Loads of Mosquitoes, take spray and plug-ins or you will regret it. Excursions with reps are very expensive, use the place across the road. Aussie supermarket across the road is fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is obviously still having stuff done to it from the Winter refurbishment. Myself, my husband and our 2 kids aged 7 and 5 years have just spent 2 weeks at the Sun Palace, we would definitely go back. It was a very clean and nice friendly hotel, haven't got anything bad to say about it. Once you've done bar street and the shops there is not much more to do, other than the beach and excursions or stay in hotel and enjoy the cocktails.
