Good Points

Service - not only with a smile but.... dignity.
Cheap tickets.
Leg room.


Bad Points

Always small delays.
Planes are getting tatty and really need a good, deep clean.
Seat-back screens either don't work or crash/full of bugs - bring a good, thick book.


General Comments

Flew Heathrow to Dubai with Royal Brunei Airlines. We had the usual trouble with the seat-back screens - there were 4 of us flying and we were lucky to have 1 screen working between us so rotated around........but the food and service was excellent. I'm 6'4", and even with the passenger in front of me insisting on reclining all the way, I wasn't in any discomfort. Remember that these flights are cheap, so lots of families use them - luckily the little bag of goodies they supply have ear plugs. One thing that was quite disconcerting, the call to the gate is quite late (due to the tight turn-arounds), which does mean that the flights do get a bit delayed due to people missing the calls etc.
