Good Points

Inexpensive and lightweight.
Easily manoeuvrable.


Bad Points

Struggles to cope with thicker clumps of long grass. Sometimes won't start. I found this site whilst looking for advice on what to do. A local mower specialist recommends Ryobi instead, which don't cost much more, and which he says have a better specification and performance.


General Comments

The McCulloch Trimmac 210 petrol strimmer is not for serious use, and it can't be relied upon. Look at other ranges from bigger companies in the strimmer market. You can't always trust advice from the big sheds. Might be worth talking to service agents to get an idea of running costs etc before you buy : I wish I had.
