toonamp's review of Kymco Pulsar 125

“The welding is not the best as far as finishing goes,...”

★★★★☆

Good Points
A sturdy bike that sits well on the road, reliable first time starter with good fuel consumption.

Bad Points
The speed is the main problem, and having had two Kymcos, the other one being a cruiser, I found in both cases that the speedos are out by 8-10mph, when showing 70mph it is in fact traveling at 60mph.

According to other Kymco owners I've contacted this is a common problem.
There is no way that you will get much more than 60mph out of a bike that weighs in at 131KG and only pulls at 10.72HP.

General Comments
The welding is not the best as far as finishing goes, but for strength and reliability this is a great bike as long as you don't expect it to do the racing speeds that bikes built as racers do.

It's a commuter bike after all.
