Easy to use
The blur mode on the camera 8/10 times would say it was a blurry pictures, it didn't appear the picture was blurry but just as a warning.
The battery life of camera is the only thing that really lets it down as it only accepts AA batteries. This is why it is cheaper than other cameras on the market with a rechargeable Li-On battery, lasts approximately 300 shots before battery dies more or less depending how often you review the pictures you've taken.
The Kodak Easyshare C743 camera was the first digital camera I owned and it was brilliant for a beginner. The handset itself is very straightforward to use with a turn dial for different picture modes or for movie capture. The zoom is also really good, you can also make visible on the screen the clarity and sharpness of the picture, red being the most blurred but even then the photo appears very clear.
Comes with a Photoshop CD which is easy to install and set up and then easy to transfer data from SD memory on to computer for printing.
Also has a playback feature where you view as slide show on the camera itself, rather good with its 2" LCD screen, however the camera also came with a cable so you can plug it into the TV which is brilliant for showcasing your pictures to everyone after an evening out.
The Kodak Easyshare offers a boastful 7.1MP. Very impressive for the price of the camera as well.
I think it's a great camera for beginners to digital photos! Just wish I'd had mine longer!
