Go faster stripes on sausages!
Bad Points
Durability - This is supposed to be a professional contact grill. We used it for about one hour per day for cooking sausages. It broke down after around 13 months and has just broken down again after 30 months. The first break down was an element - we assume it is an element again.
Nisbets response: "these are sold in great volume, approximately 800 units sold in the last 12 months of which 34 were returned under warranty for repair, this equates to approximately less than 4.25% of units being returned".
This works out that 1 machine in 24 broke down within the first year. This doesn't include the machines that break down soon after the warranty expires.
General Comments
Consider carefully how long you expect the contact grill to last. Remember 1 in 24 broke down within the first year according to Nisbets - their letter is dated 8 June 2007 from a Customer Service Senior Advisor.
