Offroad (unbelievably well fitted frame and suspend for tough tracks).
Long trip asphalt comfort.
I got this Yamaha XT225 Serow 225 when I was in Guinea West Africa and a never driven a motorbike with such an easy and powerful feeling on breaky tracks (excuse my broken English, I'm a French speaker and learned English off-road too!). You can ride on sand (abuse accelerator in curves) or rock shaking tracks and really enjoy it without hassle. I'm a bit of a warrior on hot wheels, but with my Serow I was able to ride 300 km of pure tough rural and tropical red west African swamp "roads" a day! Had several mechanical issues (major ones with exhaust and gear selector) but it's robust conception allowed local craftsmen to successfully deal with its problems.
Don't try to turn around the Earth with a Serow (for this choose a Honda XL 250 4-stroke perfect tractor) but with Yamaha Serow you going to get REAL offroad pleasure.
Don't forget your helmet!
