Easy setup, simple remote, good signal strength indicator at channel change, doesn't auto shut-off
Forced update screen appears around mid day on a daily basis, unable to disable this 'feature'. For roughly 1-2 minutes the screen has either the message saying go/cancel, or the blank screen with download progress meter.
Took 3 auto tunes before it would recognise channel 5, but OK after this initial quirk.
Bought the DSTB1000 to use with Tivo, and apart from the daily update, it is an ideal box for this purpose, after the update completes its 2 minute search, the screen returns to normal and Tivo records throughout the proceedings, it's a minor niggle, but infinitely preferable to Ferguson's alternative of complete shut down and stay off.
As said elsewhere, the Digilogic is nothing more than a reboxed Bush DFTA-11 , but I chose the larger boxed Digilogic over the Bush solely for its larger size, using the idea a bigger box would mean less heat. For those controlling the box via a separate recording device, the Digilogic responds accurately to Logik commands.
Features are minimal, ease of use is as simple as it can get, value for money, in my case at least is excellent as it removed a problematic auto shutdown box from my AV setup, and cost little as it was a cheap eBay buy. Overall, it is a competent Freeview box , especially if you use an external recorder to control it.
