Good value for money.
It smells gorgeous.
It lasts a good few days before reapplying!
It feels a bit tacky on the skin for a while, but then I think that's down to the moisturiser itself, not the fake tan!
I love fake tans, and I have used quite a few in my time. When the new moisturiser/tans came out, I was intrigued to find out what they were like. Surely a moisturiser with a built-in tan seemed an easier option I thought. So I first tried the Johnson's Holiday Skin, which was a waste of money, as it took ages to build up a tan, and even then I looked jaundiced.
The product was really strange too, as I had strange rubbery bits coming off my skin as I was applying it. I then opted for the St Tropez everyday, and found that although the colour was perfect and I had noticed a result after just one application, I couldn't stand the smell of it. Pure fake tan smell just churns my stomach!
So while out shopping a few weeks ago, I popped into Boots and saw the Garnier Summerbody and Dove Summerglow in the dark skin. I thought I'd give them a go. That night, after showering and exfoliating, I used the Summerbody and awoke to a lovely light golden tan. I reapplied another coat that morning, and one in the evening, and by the following day I had reached the desired colour.
I reapply it about 2 - 3 times a week to maintain the colour. I think it's fantastic; the best one yet...although I still have the bottle of Dove on my bathroom shelf, which I haven't used yet, but I feel obliged to use it when I've finished the Summerbody. Maybe I'll let you know how I got on with that one in the near future. Although I must say, I am quite devoted to this one for now, so maybe I'll give the Dove one away!!
I bought a 400ml size bottle as it was half price in Boots, at the time £3.49...that was 3 weeks ago, and I still have half a bottle left.
Always remember to moisturise in between applications to prolong the colour. I do it 3 times a day, and the tan lasts for ages!
