Low cost with stopover on return from Australia included in ticket. Air Bus aircraft. Food OK bar one meal but they would replace if I asked so no complaint. Use Australia Travel agency for £550 return price.
Leg room good.
Poor English, if you need to communicate but I don't mind. Entertainment is not good but the price is good and leg room good, so it's fair. Hotel was quite terrible, brown stuff came out of the tap, which was deep brown but it cleared. The bed was OK, breakfast was a 100% no no, apart from melon, take something to eat with you, also take some water or buy it on the aircraft.
Aircraft OK, no complaints, two 12 hour flights, use flight socks. I would use Qantas for an extra £50 but you get no stopover free, so overnight would cost both ways, I would pay!
I would not fly the whole journey without a stop over, no matter what, it's to much for me at 67 years of age and many others of any age.
If you want an experience, take some food and water for the return overnight. Go for it, China makes you appreciate what we have in the UK, air conditioning was good in the rooms and porter staff were excellent, as were all China Eastern staff.
The air hostesses like to shut the window blinds on the aircraft after dinner, if you like looking out just say no and pull it down half way, or open it afterwards. I take photographs lots.
Glad I went, glad I used them, I am richer as a person for the experiences both good and bad.
