Excellent true glow sights. Superb
The Trigger is a shooters dream
No recoil.
You need quite a bit of Ooomph! to compress the air
I wanted an air pistol for rats that have invaded my garden and think 10 yards is a reasonable shot for rats so not a lot of power is required. and settled on the HW 40 PCA since all I would ever get was a one shot effort before the rat took off. I took the HW 40 PCA out of the box, placed a target at 10m in the garden loaded a fiddly .177 and fired off a 5 shot group covered by a 1 pence coin. The pellets were Dynamit Nobel from Troisdorf Germany and seem to fit the pistol well. Others may perform differently. The pistol group was shooting dead centre vertical alignment but 20 mm high so that a bit of adjustment is required which I have not yet done. I`m in my seventies now and I haven`t shot a pistol since they took away my full bore pistols in 1996 so am more than delighted with the performance of me and this weapon. I can now look forward to more interesting encounters with my local rat population and will go for head shots if the rat is facing or shoulder shots if side on.
