I bought this after reviewing hundreds of reviews of air rifles. I needed one that can take care of some squirrels getting into my attic and taunted me when I tried to scare them off. I've tried moth balls, decoy owls, and even traps, but to no avail....so the ultimate conclusion that they have to go meet their maker. The rifle came packed with enough oil to cook with and I had to figure out how to mount the aiming sight. After adjusting the sight and shooting to verify optimal settings, I was amazed at how easy it was to load, and the power it had. Now I am truly a novice and perhaps I am easily impressed, but at 20 yards, the three pellets I shot cleared two sides of a soda can with only minimal movement. In fact, I thought I missed the can on one shot as it did not move the can at all. Needless to say, that was enough power to go clear through most small pests and it was at least accurate enough to do the job. For the money, it can't be beat and it sure feels like and fires like an adult hunting rifle instead of comparably priced rifles at Wal Mart, etc. that feel like toys.
