Good Points

Spotlessly clean. Snacks cooked to order. Constant hot water. Friendly helpful staff. Abba night, Bee Gees night brilliant. Plenty of sunbeds all day, close to beach. Lifts reliable. Hotel disabled friendly. In house entertainment team plus daytime activities good. Club dance song infectious. Kids disco better than most I've seen, no Black Lace boring songs.


Bad Points

Alcoholic drinks are weak. All inclusive bar times are 11am until 11pm. Can't get a cup of tea after breakfast until 11am. Toilets are downstairs.


General Comments

Would recommend the Coral Playa Hotel to anyone, we had a great time. Location is good nice steady walk into the centre of Es Cana. Water taxis are great. Local buses go from bus station 5 minute walk away. The food was basic but we did go at the start of the season and found by the end of the two weeks the food had improved greatly. Fresh Strawberry's every night. The soup wasn't very nice, always tasteless. The snack bar is great, just tell them what you want from their menu and they cook it in front of you, hence it is always fresh and hot. We didn't see one fly or creepy crawly in the hotel all holiday. Everyone is friendly, even the maids are sociable and seem happy in their jobs. Popeye's Bar down the road is a good night out, they have a singer/comedian on Tuesday nights called Jim Rhodes, who is not to be missed, he is brilliant.
