General Comments

I purchased a Yardworks Cordless Reel mower part 60-1535-8 at Canadian Tire. It is a very expensive lawn ornament!
The only thing worse then the lawn mower is the service I received after the purchase.

I used my new Yarkworks twice, and I had to take out my old lawn mower to actually get the grass cut.

I tried to return the lawn mower within 30 days, and I was told it only had a 7 day exchange warranty.

The service from both Canadian Tire and Yardworks is horrible. After talking to both companies, I took my lawn mower in for servicing and was told there was nothing wrong with it so it couldn't be replaced.
So here I am stuck with a $200+ lawn mower that doesn't work.

I live in Regina and had the same problem with it not cutting very well. I talked to a local small engine repairman, and he said did you sharpen the blade ? I said no, it's brand new. He then told me that CDN tire is not allowed to sell mowers with the blades pre-sharpened for whatever crazy reason !!!! Would have been nice to know that when I purchased the cordless yardworks 20" mower! This guy sharpened it and it actually cuts grass now and I love it again : )

Canadian Tire has agreed to exchange my Tecumseh Yard Works lawn mower! Yippee.

I AGREE 100%, as I am stuck with the same model and am unable to return a product that does NOT do as advertised. Not only does the Tecumseh Yard Works lawn mower cut terribly, but the catcher is a joke! The rear wheels, where a roller should be, tear up the turf in every corner if you are not really careful.
