-All steel-construction
-Very good balanced
-Very accurate
-Fully adjustable sights
-The grips could be better...
I own a Diana 5G in nickel finish for about 7 years now and I've had a lot of pleasure with it (and still have). The full steel-construction is indestructable , also the nickel coating gives corrosion no chance. The spring pistol is average powered (125 m/s) and has a .177 caliber rifled barrel that breaks open to load. Accuracy up to ten meters is great and the optimal balanced weight gives the best to it. Rear sights are fully adjustable and can be changed between four different types with just turning a small plate. All in all another great piece of german crafmanship, just as typical for diana. This pistol can either be used as a fun pistol but also as a serious target pistol for the advanced shooter.
The only bad thing about this pistol are the grips. They are a bit too big for my taste and they are not very anatomical shaped at all, although they have a thumb rest. I fired a Diana 5 from 1976 (or was it 78'?) that had a completely different kind of grip, and this one was really great! So I cannot understand why Diana gave up such well shaped grips. But however, I give this superb air pistol ten stars. If you have bigger hands than me... It's worth it.
