Good Points

I travel all the time, as a journalist I am away from home 1 week in 4. This means I see a lot of hotels. 99% of these hotels I would gladly never see again.

Rida Tizwa is in the rarefied remaining 1%. I stayed there for a week over New Year 2006-2007. It was like staying at home, if home was really immaculately and tastefully designed and decorated and if I had cheerful and helpful staff. I was with my partner and a best friend. We felt welcome and relaxed immediately.

The Riad is in the centre of all the action but very quiet, an oasis, cliched but true.

I loved it so much I went back again Spring 2007 and was rewarded with a hero's return.

Not to be missed.


Bad Points

There is no pool, this is common in the Medina though and it's an old building so it can get noisy.


General Comments

I have since stayed there again and would do again in a heartbeat.
