Good Points

The Road Angel Plus is easy to update via a USB, displays clear warnings of all speed cameras and looks good on the dash. Purchsed in Nov 2006.

Bad Points

Product quality is awful. First, the on/off button stopped working. I didn't exchange it as the unit still worked OK and it comes on anyway because of the motion sensor. Then when I could not update the unit due to lack of internet connection in my new flat this month (May 07), it went mad, beeping and displaying every warning in a cycle! I pressed the reset button and it sheared off inside the unit! As I cannot find the receipt, I have no come back so I have cancelled my subscription!

Good idea, poor build quality. £249 down the drain!

I have the same situation regarding the on/off button... has ANYONE had success with getting help over this? Its a very expensive unit to simply write-off for what would appear to be a simpler manufacturing error?
