The resort has a friendly and helpful staff that can provide you with all the information and help you need. It is listed as a 2 star hotel and I do not agree, it feels more like a 3 plus. The resort is well located close to many stores. If you climbed up towards the top using the 118 stairs of the stairway from the front of the reception you will find a market used by local resident s with great prices. We have found that it is really cheap to self-cater. Food is great and you save even more money if you buy local products instead of the name brand you are use to. There is a lot of things to see and do but check before booking any excursions with you tour provider as we found similar excursions offer by local tour operators like DIRECT EXCURSIONS, where tours were in some cases half price with better coaches.

Most room have a pool view, but we have noticed that a few seem to have a street view which would make your holiday less enjoyable as the resort is located in the middle of a one way circular road which well frequented by vehicles thus turning a quiet evening on your balcony looking a the bright stars a noisy experience. Be sure to request a room with a pool view. Finally if your room is in the new part of the building you have the benefits of air conditioning but you must also contempt with the noise of the entertainment area blasting until midnight.... But it is holiday and party time!

We read comments from this web site before going and were apprehensive about our choice of destination. Some complained about cockroaches and I have not seen any. As a mater of fact the resort is well maintained and really clean. There were negative comments regarding the equipment in the kitchen for self-catering. Although equipment is minimalist you can request almost anything you desire and the staff are quite prompt to provide you with almost anything. There is a great animation team that provides entertainment throughout the day and at night. You can participate or ignore the invitations. Entertainment provided at night includes a mini disco mostly for kids. Our two children, all youths aged between 3 and 13 along with all the young at hearth participated every night in the mini disco and were looking forward the next one. Following the mini disco was a bingo that lasted about 45 minutes; and it was finally top with entertainment for adults ranging from singers, flamenco dancers to exhibitions of exotics animals. Of course all this was free and included in your packages; however you have to contend with photographers taking your picture and offering you to buy it; there again there was no pressure and it was easy to decline.
