They seem to have a good variety of films, and I like their system of reviewing films.
Bad Points
There are many bad points, most of which are highly frustrating for the customer.
1. Even with 500 films on my rental list, sometimes they have no DVD available to send me.
2. They stop sending DVDs after about 11 am. So even when a DVD arrives at their warehouse before 11am, and is recognised are having been returned but their computer system, once they stop sending out new DVDs that is it, and you have to wait 24 hours for them to send you your DVD. This to me, seems a deliberate ploy to reduce the number of DVDs each customer has per week.
3. They often say they have a DVD, when they actually have lost it, so you wait 6 months for it and then give up and buy it on Amazon.
4. Popular DVDs will NEVER arrive- you may as well buy them on Amazon. I think they must only have half a dozen of the most popular rentals for the whole country. I have waited 6 months and longer for popular films.
5. They don't send DVDs on the weekend- another money saving ploy
General Comments
Although it is convenient to receive DVDs in the post, unless you like obscure and odd films, don't bother. You will wait over 6 months for the latest blockbuster film, and when it arrives it is likely to be scratched.
They have loads of annoying money saving ideas, like waiting 24 hours after receiving your films before sending another. Or "not having enough stock" to send you anything at all. If it is not one thing it's another.
