Good Points

So reliable, does what it says on the tin gets you from a-b. I have been off the bikes for 20 years and this bike is so easy and fun to ride. Cheap easily obtainable parts, low running costs. Goes on a whiff of petrol.

Bad Points

Rust! My scooter-boy son pinches it as it's so much fun to ride.

General Comments

The Yamaha SR125 sounds like a proper bike, not a lawn mower. I was fed up with the local bus service and decided that I needed my own transport. I took my CBT and enjoyed being back on the bike, then rode my son's scooter home from the test centre and was terrified by the ride! Being a girlie and of shorter stature, the test bike I rode was a little high for me. When I saw a SR advertised it seamed the ideal bike for me as they are custom shape and even I can touch the road with flat feet! I got the bike for a very good price with a full year MOT, and to be honest I have only a few things that I need to do to prepare for the next MOT. This bike will suit me just fine until I get it's big brother and my dream bike a Virago 535. OK some people complain that there is no storage on them, but after all they are bike not cars, and believe me I have safely carried ample baggage with the use of a tank bag, or bungie using the sissy bar and double seat.
