Good Points

Barbie Apartments are centrally located on a quiet street, Trianda itself has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The apartments are the cleanest that we have stayed in on any Greek island resort and we even had a bath! Barbara and Vangelis are very friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome, the pool area was clean and very nice, plenty of sunbeds but can imagine it will get very busy at peak season.


Bad Points

Only bad point was the weather, it was cloudy most days, very windy and rainy but we did have two days of sunshine.


General Comments

You cannot visit Rhodes and not take a trip to Rhodes town, the old town is beautiful, like a medieval city. The new town is very cosmopolitan, you can get a taxi there for 9 Euros or the local bus runs there for about 2 Euros each but looked very busy. Also, Lindos is a must climb to the Acropolis but don't ride on the poor donkeys, the climb is not that bad! We booked with Captains Tours, which is just around the corner from the Barbie Apartments, opposite Annas supermarket. It only cost us 12 Euros each, we left at 9.30am and were picked up at 3.00pm, which is plenty of time to spend in Lindos. It only took about 1 hour 15 minutes to go on a Sunday as it is quieter on the roads, also if you book with your tour op they charge you 20 Euros for the same trip! restaurants in Trianda Navarone, would have liked to have tried knight of olde but there were two many cats hanging around, Platon was not a very good meal but there are so many to choose from also Alkiones bar is a must! Enjoyed the holiday so much that we are thinking about going again later on this year, hope this review is helpful to you, enjoy!
