Good Points

The salon and spa are clean, and the front desk employees are friendly.


Bad Points

The massage therapist closes you up in a room, and works, even though she was sick, and sniffing, snorting, and coughing all over.


General Comments

I think that the salon should make sure that their employees are well before allowing them to work on you. For $80+, you should be given a relaxing, full service massage without the sound effects of a sick employee and the worry of what sickness you will come down with because you were breathed on by a sick employee for an hour. I was very disappointed in my first experience at Paul Michaels Hair Salon. I had a very sore neck and back, and the massage therapist didn't speak one word, except for roll over, and never asked where I might need some extra attention.

All in all, I got less than 5 minutes on my entire neck, back, and shoulders during an hour long massage. Very poor. The massage therapist used Johnson's Baby Oil, and no other massage products or lotions. This led to the skin being pulled at, not rubbed. I would not recommend the service to anyone who has ever had a decent massage before, because you will be extremely disappointed and let down.
