General Comments

I decided to buy the Hyundai Coupe (F/L) 2.7 V6 DOHC as it is most definitely different and unique to others, after having two Renault Clios I was bored and looked at the Renault Clio 2.0 182 Sport 16V, but it didn't really excite me at all. So after looking around, this car had definitely caught my eye with a sporty look with full leather interior with all the climate control, ABS, traction control, rear and front fog lights, 17 inch alloys as standard, the price is not bad at all with 5 years warranty on any cars which is under 5 years old you can have piece of mind. During my test drive the car can get to about 60 in 8 seconds, possibly less. The traction control really does help you to stop skidding (ideal for drivers who can't drive) but you have the option to turn it off. When you are sat inside the front seats are very comfy and spacious too, they also designed a drinks holder which is actually very useful i.e it can fit a can of coke perfectly or bottles of water. They also designed a small storage box beside the seats for CDs or anything that you need storage for, I thought the drive was very smooth, the car was designed without a standard head unit (CD player) but they outsourced it to a few companies to supply it so some of the models will have a very good Clarion CD player, the car can handle really well round corners and in my opinion this car is very poky. The rear of the car looks smart as it has two exhausts, the boot has a lot of space and they also smartly created some netting which holds onto your shopping or anything else in the boot to stop it flying around side to side. The spare tyre has a compact tyre which is used in emergency and its compact to save space in the boot but you can only go max 50mph if you need to use the to get to the next local garage. This car is definitely worth getting, the insurance group is 16. With the manufacturers warranty you can have piece of mind buying it privately. But I reckon the price is about £7000 for 2003 plate and about £8000 if you get it through a dealer but I reckon its not worth paying that extra to get it from a dealer when they have warranty left on it.
