The room we had overlooked the sea but was very well sound proofed so you didn't have to listen to it all night. Has two pools, one more suitable for adults which is excellent for relaxing. Right in amongst shops and bars and on the beach front.
Bad Points
Staff were very rude and unhelpful. Pool was freezing this time of year.
General Comments
I had a brilliant holiday. I already knew I loved Lanzarote, but I hadn't been amongst the shops and bars before. There was always something different to do outside of the hotel in the evening, but the entertainment in the hotel was okay. It has a bar within the hotel and a separate area for drinks with children and a stage for shows. I would definitely recommend last minute travel for booking trips as the hotel staff were clueless and last minute knew exactly what they were talking about. Don't go on the Three Islands Tour though if you get sea sick or sun burnt easily. Definitely try to go to Guinate Tropical Park. It is a English-family-run small animal park with Meerkats, Otters, Parrots and they're getting Penguins shortly. I would recommend Lanzarote to anyone, but the hotel didn't have the wow factor. It was nice and clean, but if I went back I would probably go to another one... like the Barcelo La Galea which was right next door.
