Good Points

Crystal clear top end/treble, Very fast reactions, Neat appearance

Bad Points

Bottom end/bass, although good, doesn't have the same quality as the top end. Hard to justify spending £9 per metre on cable to my wife.

General Comments

Used to power B&W DM602 S3's from my Arcam A65+ amp. It's a significant step up from the old car audio £1 per metre cable i previously used. Everything becomes much faster, the music stopping and starting with lightning reaction. The treble/higher frequencies are also much more open and clear. Only fly in the ointment is that the bass, although of high quality doesn't match the top end. It's punchy and fast, but not the deepest around. On the whole though it was a sound buy, marred by only the slightest imperfection. If you suffer from a woolly bass or too heavy a bottom end then you must include this cable on your audition list.

the review of the qed silver anniversary is a little flawed, the b&wspeaker he has is not that great on the bass to start with cannot even go to 40 hz.the cables in question i have tried with
watt puppys and they kept up well ,a great price and a solid +8 cable out of 10.

OK. So they don't give the bass depth floorstanders would, but i did get lower (admittedly inferior quality) bass from the £1 per metre car audio cable i was using, than the Q.E.D cable, with the very same speakers. I only call it like i find it.

I agree with the reviewer & found exactly the same when I changed from Soniclink AST to the QED cable - fantastic top end & mids, but Bass was not as apparent or as rich as it was with the AST.
