Good Points

OK, so it's handy for shopping


Bad Points

If you overpay your monthly bill (which I have done): disaster! You won't be allowed to use your card in store, as it shows a credit "against" you. You'll have to ring their call centre, and ask them to send you a cheque for the money *they* owe you.


General Comments

I've always liked the service I got from them, until the other day when my card was refused in store because it was in credit.

Although the Evans Store Card call centre assistant was pleasant, she wasn't able to sort out the situation, which meant that I couldn't use my card to buy the top I wanted, and thereby use up the credit on my account. I've now got to wait for a cheque from GE money in order to clear the account.
Utterly ridiculous.
