Waste of money.
My son had the same problem as the previous driver. His car broke in Newquay with brake problem on a Sunday. First Call GB Ltd told him they had found a garage that could fix it on Monday, we told them this was not acceptable, as my son and his 4 friends needed to be home on Sunday. First Call did suggest hiring a car but told him he had to arrange that himself, but as he is only 18 it was highly unlikely that he would get a hire car. There was no public transport from Newquay on Sunday. So we spent a lot of time arguing with First Call, insisting that they be recovered home. They told us to read the T & C in the policy, they said that the policy states they will recover the car to a garage, home or destination whichever is the nearer. So we had no choice but find my son and his friends accommodation. The car was fixed on the Monday but on Wednesday my sons brakes failed again, the same problem that had supposedly been fixed. On contacting First Call they said it was our responsibility, not theirs. When I pointed out that they had chosen the garage not us, they just kept referring to their T&C.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
