Good Points

Local (Chertsey). Clean looking cars.

Bad Points

Pushy salesmen. Very expensive. Confusing pricing. Confusing warranty. Confusing finance.

General Comments

I was looking for a car and Carcraft had just opened a branch 4 miles from me so I though I would pay them a visit.
Before doing this I looked on their web site, and picked out a couple of cars I was interested in.

I had only just stepped in the door when I was confronted by 3 burly salesmen.
Not what I wanted as at this stage I just wanted to browse round.
After 5 minutes of being followed around, I asked to look at the cars I had seen on their web site.

The salesman could not find them and Both were apparently Salesman's Demonstrator cars and both where not there as the sales people off!
My salesman showed be a couple of similar cars, same year slightly different mileage but both were an incredible £3000 more expensive.
When I quizzed the salesman he said I need a web certificate for get the web price.
In my opinion this is dual pricing.
I must say the cars looked nice and polished.
They had a low rate finance option of 10.9% on the screen of the car, but when they quoted me it was 19%. They said if I take the low rate, then I would loose out on the 2 year warranty and only get a 3 month warranty. Are these guys for real?

My only other gripe was that their adverts said they had 1,500 cars but there was only a couple of hundred cars there.

I found the whole experience very confusing and in some way intimidating. And whilst they were not lying is was hard work to get any clarity of the price of the car, the finance rate, what warranty I was with the car.

Sorry Carcraft you style is not for me.
