Good Points
Excellent styling, brilliant reliability (I remember the Suzuki oil cooled engine coming in in the 80's!), Comfortable, doesn't look stupid with a top box.
Bad Points
The only bad point is that my right hand goes numb with the vibration through the grips, although this could be down to some defect in my hand. Would be nice if it was injected, rather than carbed, but at least carbs are easy to maintain.
General Comments
Having returned to bikes after a 13 year gap I have found the Suzuki GSX 750F to be a superb, overall, sports tourer. No it isn't as fast as a GSXR 750; No it isn't as comfortable as a Pan European (Not that I've ridden one), but for a return to biking bike, it's ideal.
It's fast enough, it's comfortable (more than I can say for my mates R6), it's got a large enough tank for 200ish miles (more than I can say for my mates R6) and it's reasonably economic to ride. I don't want to do 140 mph on the motorway! I want to be able to do 60 mph on nice country A-roads all day, every day; and I can.
OK it can't do corners like the latest CBR 600 RR, But I don't want to do that. It can can be much more fun working a bike like this than one which does what you want just by thinking about it!
It's a bike for riding, not for playing about on only.
I'm thoroughly pleased with it and look forward to many enjoyable miles on it.
