Good Points

very different , something which has become expected from a magician such as Stephen King, i didn't know where this book was going which was perhaps a good thing, uses religion effectively

Bad Points

i have to say the ending was a little cheesy, without giving it away because i still think it is worth a read, the evil guy turns out to be a little less human then first perceived, which let the novel down a little

General Comments

Stephen King, Desperation is a book about a man who at first seems to be your average police officer, but it is soon realised that the only arrests this man has made have been to innocent people, taking them to a jail cell in a town of desperation. Soon the prisoners get out and begin to find all the dead gory bodies that have been killed by this "man"
