Neat, modern, compact, versatile, innovative, capable of movies with sound.
It is too good. The telephoto architecture is within the camera case so the lens does not protrude. However it is right in the top left corner and it is too easy to get finger in the picture - which is not want you want. It has no viewfinder so framing the shot has to be done by viewing the large screen on the rear. Ok if the sun or a bright light is not shining on it. Setting the options for best effect is far too complicated and takes ages to learn and practice. Read the manual to see what I mean. It is very difficult to hold it steady for a shot and so the 6 mega pixels don't help with camera shake even though it takes several pictures at a time and self selects the one with least fuzz on the edges.
I used to take good pictures with the old fashion digital camera but not so with the Nikon S9.
