Reasonable value for money, insurance claims settled very quickly.
Terrible customer service, mistakes on bills take several calls and long hold times to sort out. Say they will call you back and then don't. Say they have made notes on your account and when you call back, they can't find them.
Leaving due to poor customer services. I have been an Orange customer since April 2005 on pay monthly tariffs ranging in price from £35 - 55 and with monthly bills averaging around £45-50 total with some peaking at £150. After two fairly unreliable handsets (Sanyo S750 and SPV m600), and problems correcting errors on some of my bills, I decided that I would like a Nokia N95 with another company. I spoke to a customer service rep (CRP) in disconnections who was very helpful and as a 'valued customer' offered me a deal that enticed me to stay, only problem being that the handset wasn't in stock currently, but not to worry I would be texted as soon as it came in and then would just have to call back to finalise everything. So far so good...
A week later I called back to see if there had been any progress, and was told to my surprise that the phone was in stock now and that they had no record of the previous conversation. Even worse the deal I had been offered couldn't possibly have existed, I must have had it explained wrong and that they couldn't offer me the deal any more. Aha, but I had the name of the original CRP, surely this would be easy to sort out, but 'no there are hundreds of people that work here' was the answer.
So I have asked for my number porting (PAK) code and will be moving shortly.
