Very intuitive phone. Able to conference two callers very easily. Love the email, size of phone and style. Predictive text has been fairly good.
Reception has been less than satisfactory. People cannot understand me and I cannot always understand them. My previous phone (Nokia 6600) always had full strength reception at my house. The Pearl with the same provider does not have the same signal strength. Each key has two letters which allows for the size, but it is somewhat frustrating. The detail (phone number specifically) behind each contact is difficult to read. Would be better if there were dashes between the area code, pre-fix and suffix. Web access has been less than I expected. GPS is really just a mapping feature and is more of a toy in my opinion than a good working tool
I am probably going to return the Blackberry Pearl during the fourteen day trial period simply based on the reception quality. I think phone manufacturers are forgetting that it is a phone first and are too busy working on the camera, MP3 or organizer feature. I really like the email and if I travelled more would place more importance on this function.
