Good Points

The seats were comfortable enough.

Bad Points

On our leg from Denver to Munich it was freezing. We've never flown where it was that cold. It seemed they had an issue with the system as parts of the plane were very hot and others were freezing. We had a terrible time checking in for our flight in Munich. We were flying with our 23 month old daughter and had purchased an infant in seat ticket. We paid the same price for her seat as our own but when we got to the check in the computer system had cancelled her reservation. Apparently the infant in seat isn't handled by their system, good thing they sell you a ticket that it doesn't support, on the flight from Denver to Munich it was fine but the Munich system couldn't handle it. We waited about 40 minutes at the agent counter as they tried to figure out what to do. It wouldn't allow them to print a boarding pass for her. This was very frustrating and they weren't at all apologetic. We had to run to make our flight and when we got to the gate they didn't want to let us board the plane either, it seems the computer still didn't like the boarding pass that they had finally created. We had a hungry and unhappy child due to the delays by their computer system. May be they will actually fix the system but the agent said she could tell the horror stories with their system, so keep that in mind when flying with them.

General Comments

We had tried Lufthansa because we weren't that fond of Northwest. I'll say NWA has never given us the check in hassles that Lufthansa did and that their service was no better than Northwest.
