Good Points

People were so friendly, weather was amazing too.
The best bar/restaurant we found was Captains table in Kotu and in Senta Gambia on the main road there is a restaurant called Alfies bar, which is really good as well plus you can rent quad bikes from.

Bad Points

The food was quit poor at most places, at the hotel.

General Comments

I went on a family holiday including my partner, we all had an amazing time and would all go back. The hotel was quite poor and the food in the hotel was shocking but the hotel staff were so nice and friendly. They couldn't do enough for you, which in my eyes is what counts as I don't go all that way to sit in my hotel room. There are a lot of bumsters about and you'll find that once you give them attention, they won't leave you alone for the rest of your holiday but if you just tell them from the start that you're not interested, they do tend to leave you alone. Whilst you're there, hire a taxi to take you out and about. Outside Badala Park's back gate there out tour guides who are trained by the tourist board to take tourists out and they are good, we went out for the day with Charlie, he got us some amazing prices on presents from the local markets. He also invited us to his home where his sisters cooked for us all, there were 10 of us and the local children sang songs and danced. I do advise you to take the offer if you do get invited to go to someones home, it is such a eye opener and makes you realise what third world actually is. Plus, if you do go, take a football from a local shop as the children love football and will play with it for hours upon hours. Please, if you go, go sight-seeing, don't spend your money on expensive hotels, Badala Park is OK and has what you need for 14 days. Save your money to spend on day trips.
