I bought my first Sendo M550 shortly after they were released in 2003. It cost £99 at the time but I wanted a clamshell with a colour screen to replace my Nokia 3310. I was very pleased with the reliability and sound quality of the handset. So much so that my 2 sisters, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, father and mother eventually bought them too. By Christmas 2005 I bought a brand new M550 from Woolworth for £30 for my husband so the price had really dropped. I found the menus just as easy to use as the Nokia but the one thing I did miss was the ability to assign a specific tune to a caller. I replaced my own M550 with a Motorola V220 but took it back under the 30 day warranty (Virgin) as I preferred the M550. I only replaced it when I went on contract and bought a Samsung E720 with MP3, camera and Bluetooth. My son then had the M550 up until I replaced the Samsung this year (he had the Samsung and I sold the M550 on ebay - it was still in perfect working order!) The hinge on one of the M550's did break but I think this was only because it was forced back by my younger son when he was playing the games.
