General Comments

The Peugeot 106 Independence is a fantastic car to drive overall. Ive added 15" alloys to my 106 and this has improved the already good handling. This car is very chuckable, any corner, any speed, or at least that's the confidence this car gives to on the twisty stuff, and so far after two years I have no reason to doubt its abilities. As for refinement, the interior is basic but for the £2200 I paid for my car everything is there. I have very few optional extras on the inside such as power steering but I have found that the cars handling on cheaper cars such as this can be affected by power steering as you lose the feel of the road through the steering wheel. Exterior styling wise the little Peugeot is very good. I have added Peugeot fog lights which improve the overall look of the car, as well as Lexus and angel-eye lights. I have found the colour coded bumpers also help with the styling side of things as this helps the car stand out in a crowd a little more.
So to sum up I would definitely recommend the Peugeot 106 to any first time buyer. Its cheep to buy, cheap to insure & easy on the running costs. And most of all I think its sum of the most fun you can get from a car worth around £2- 3k.
